RST Industrie Automation GmbH is dedicated to developing and realizing embedded applications. Our main areas of expertise include industrial automation, realtime applications and test systems. Founded in 1993, the company has so far been able to realize more than 200 successful solutions for our customers - ranging from textile machinery to elaborate test rigs to beam positioning systems for radiation therapy for tumors. Over the course of these manifold projects we have worked with nearly all possible architectures and methods in the field of embedded technology. This widespread experience now benefits our customers.

With our case tool GAMMA we are able to offer a comprehensive framework that enables generation of platform spanning embedded applications and deployment across diverse hardware architectures. The data centric approach that lies at the heart of GAMMA makes this software a pioneer in the world of model based eevelopment.

Technology Day 2010 in Review PDF Print E-mail

On July 1st the traditional yearly RADISYS TECHNOLOGY DAY took place. The event, which this year was governed by the overall motto

PLAY IT SAFE

was a showcase for numerous exhibitors to inform on the subjects of security and reliability, certifiability and quality assurance in the context of embedded systems. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all attendants for their participation. The Technology Day 2010 was extraordinarily well attended and we hope the event will continue to succesfully expand in the coming years.Of course we also thank our gracious hosts at RadiSys and MicroSys for their hospitality and the smooth coordination and cooperation.

The various presentations held at this year's Technology Day have now been made available for free download over at MicroSys. We hope you will find something interesting while perusing them. Please note though that the presentations are only available in German.
 
Elektroniknet Publishes Professional Article PDF Print E-mail

German website elektroniknet.de (home of professional publications like Elektronik, Markt&Technik et. al.) has published a professional article on the subject of "Embedded Graphics Through Data Models" authored by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Robert Schachner (RST Industrie Automation), Klaus Gerstendörfer (XiSys) and Peter Schuller (MicroSys).

Our CEO, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Robert Schachner, co-authored an article on "Embedded Graphics and Data Models" (together with Klaus Gerstendoerfer (XiSys Software GmbH) and Peter Schuller (MicroSys GmbH)). It describes current developments in embedded visualization with special focus on our software connector GAMMA. Both German and Englich versions are available in our download section.
 
Multimedia Presentation on Data Centric Models PDF Print E-mail
Our CEO, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Robert Schachner, gave a talk on the topic "Data Centric Models - The key to Future Oriented Embedded System Design". 2nd Landshut Symposium on Micro Systems Technology PDF Print E-mail
On Feb. 24th and 25th 2010, the trade organization Cluster Mikrosystemtechnik (Micro Systems Technology Cluster) hosted a symposium at Landshut. The main subjects were composition and bonding technology, intelligent sensor systems, embedded systems / cyber-physical systems, micro mechatronics and technology and innovation management. Here, business professionals, customers and interested parties were able to share information about innovative solutions and technologies as well as new materials and processes. Our CEO Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Robert Schachner presented a keynote on the subject "Data Centric Models - The Key to Future Oriented Embedded System Design" and was available to answer questions.

  • August 2009: The Institute for Avionics Systems (Institut für Luftfahrtsysteme, ILS) at the university of Stuttgart has awarded a contract to RST GmbH for designing and realizing new test rigs.
  • August 7th 2009: Munich newspaper Abendzeitung publishes an article on the Rinecker Proton Therapy Center. Read it online here.
  • March 2009: The Rinecker Proton Therapy Center in Munich begins radiation treatment of cancer patients. RST GmbH was a major participant in the development of the underlying scanning systems (read more).
